After suffering through endless jabs on Netflix’s ‘The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,’ the quarterback finally got the center stage. In his closing speech, the all-time great had some witty jabs of his own, especially at the most popular sports romance in recent years.
The former Patriots star poked fun at Swift’s young fans, which later incurred the wrath of the Swifties.”Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest?” asked Brady before delivering the punchline. “It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls. And in honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look at the Chiefs’ eras. Terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.”
The Swifties weren’t happy with Brady’s jabs and took to X to defend their idol. One fan pointed out how the pop star was immensely popular even before her relationship and criticized the QB’s joke.
Tom Brady’s roasts were clearly not well-received by the Swifties, who fell in love with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s whirlwind romance. While everyone missed the NFL couple’s appearance at the Grand Prix, knowing the two, we can hope to see another adorable sighting soon!
