John Lennon’s son Sean Lennon belatedly bashed Prince Harry’s “Spare” memoir on social media, giving the January 2023 release a scathing critique.

“My long awaited review of Prince Harry’s autobiography is two words. ‘Spare Me,’” the musician, 48, joked via X on Wednesday.

When fellow social media users came to the 39-year-old royal’s defense, Sean doubled — and tripled — down on his negative review.

“I do empathize with him generally. But the way he whines and wangs on about things is really too much,” he wrote on Thursday. “I’m just having a little fun. I think he’s earned some mockery. (I’m sure I have as well).”

When one fan wrote that writing “Spare” took “courage,” Lennon joked that the particular memento about Harry’s frostbitten penis “certainly” did.

The songwriter noted that while he is “aware” of what he and the Duke of Sussex have in common, he considers Harry an “idiot” and a “buffoon.”

He tweeted, “I do [empathize with him]. … [That’s] why I’m very disappointed with his outlook. I was hoping he’d be smarter.”

Sean also clapped back at claims that he “based his whole life on his father’s success,” pointing out that he “did win an Oscar this year” and is doing “OK” for himself.

He shrugged off a troll calling him “the spare Lennon,” replying, “If you say so.”

Harry’s memoir detailed his childhood with the late Princess Diana, his time in the military and his marriage to Meghan Markle, with the tell-all’s title poking fun at him and Prince William being the “heir and the spare” in the royal family.

Sean is John and Yoko Ono’s only child, arriving five years before the late Beatles member was shot and killed at age 40.

he Grammy winner singer was also the father of son Julian, now 61, with ex-wife Cynthia Lennon.

Sean has followed in his father’s footsteps, releasing his solo debut, “Into the Sun,” in 1998, followed by “Friendly Fire” eight years later.

He has been a member of multiple bands and received an Oscar last year for his “War Is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko” short film.
