When the Buffalo Bills’ 2024 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs was revealed to fall in Week 11 on Sunday, November 17, it didn’t take long for fans and media members to see that Taylor Swift would be nearby in Toronto performing on tour.

Swift is set to have concerts on Thursday, November 14, Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16. She has no concert scheduled for Sunday, November 17, so a short drive or quick flight would have Travis Kelce’s significant other at Highmark Stadium in plenty of time before the game kicks off at 4:25 p.m

Knowing how much the NFL enjoyed having Swift at their games last season, there was speculation that the league may have scheduled the Bills’ matchup against the Chiefs with Swift in mind.

On Thursday, Mike North, the NFL’s vice president for broadcast planning, revealed whether or not the game was scheduled so that Swift could attend.

According to North, it was a pure coincidence and not something that was on the league’s radar.

“I saw a lot of conspiracy theorists talking about Kansas City at Buffalo middle of the season, right when Taylor’s playing Toronto,” North said Thursday. “That one definitely did not hit our radar screen.”

While the league did not have Swift’s tour in mind, there is no doubt that she will be at Highmark Stadium for the second consecutive year to support Kelce and the Chiefs against Buffalo.
