Breaking News: Unbelievable Whoopi Goldberg pretends to spit on ‘The View’ stage after saying Trump’s name

WASHINGTON (TND) — Whoopi Goldberg, who has made it no secret she is not a fan of Donald Trump, pretended to spit on “The View” stage after she said the former president’s name.

Goldberg broke her long-held vow when she accidentally blurted out “Trump” during the daytime show’s segment at the “Hot Topics” table Tuesday. She was trying to make it clear she was talking about — and insulting — Trump, not Biden.

“I think it would be remiss of us to not say, ‘Joe Biden knows how to do this. He knows how to do this; he’s quite good at this,'” Goldberg says of Biden.

She goes on to say, “You can’t refute anything with him because he just — when I say ‘him,’ I mean…” she says, trailing off. She then says, “Trump” before groaning and pretending to spit.

The four other co-hosts at the table appear to laugh and some members of the audience applaud.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it’s the second time Goldberg has slipped and said Trump’s name this year. The first, according to the media outlet, was in May after Trump was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection to a hush money payment case.

Goldberg made the comment as she and the other women were discussing the upcoming presidential debate between Biden and Trump, which is set for Thursday night at 9. The 90-minute debate will be held in Atlanta and hosted by CNN.
