Mama Kelce’ has a specific question she wants to ask her son’s pop star girlfriend.

Donna Kelce has a question she wants to ask Taylor Swift the next time they meet.

Travis Kelce’s mother said she is aware that some of Swift’s fans believe her NFL player son, who began dating Swift last year, was referenced in some of the lyrics on Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

“I know there’s a few that some people think are about Travis but we’ll just see,” the woman known as “Mama Kelce” among fans of the Kelce family told Us Weekly while attending QVC’s Age of Possibility summit in Las Vegas this week. Donna then added, “I’ll have to ask her when I see her.”

Donna also told People at the summit that she had already listened to Swift’s 11th studio album in full in the days since its April 19 release. She told the magazine that she was “very impressed” by the material, which she suggested was “probably” the “Cruel Summer” singer’s “best work.” Donna also praised Swift, calling her “a very talented woman.”

Swifties were thrilled to learn that the project the “Anti-Hero” songstress first teased at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February was actually arriving as a 31-track double album. In the week since its release, fans familiar with Swift’s tendency to include Easter eggs in her material have carefully dissected the songs’ lyrics for hidden meanings. While many listeners quickly became convinced that some of the songs were about her prior romances with actor Joe Alwyn and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, other songs are believed to include references to Travis.

Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end first took their relationship public last fall as the megastar began attending NFL games to cheer on his team. After Swift watched Super Bowl LVIII in person to see the Chiefs win the Lombardi Trophy, Travis also traveled to Australia and Singapore to attend some of his girlfriend’s international Eras Tour concerts. One week before The Tortured Poets Department’s release, the two were spotted packing on the PDA at Coachella, assuring fans that their relationship was going strong.

After her album dropped, several Swifties pointed to the new song “So High School” as a likely example of how Travis inspired Swift’s lyrics. Many believed their theory was confirmed when Swift’s and Kelce’s initials were highlighted in the song’s subsequent lyric video.
