Breaking News:Jennifer Lopez channels Taylor Swift and Madonna as she rebrands ‘This is Me’ tour amid poor ticket sales.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez appears to be looking at Taylor Swift and Madonna for inspiration after registering poor ticket sales for her ‘This is Me’ tour.

While the 54-year-old singer is just a few weeks away from kicking off her concert tour – that she previously hinted to be her “last hurrah” – to promote her ninth studio album ‘This is Me…Now’, the lack of excitement surrounding her concerts remains a worrying aspect for her.

Per the sitemaps obtained from Ticketmaster – the website that sells the tickets – the venues still have multiple blocks of unsold tickets.

According to an insider, who recently revealed to Daily Mail that ‘The Jenny From The Block’ singer is taking inspiration from Taylor Swift and Madonna to sell out venues.

While some of the venues including Newark, New Jersey, and Canada’s Toronto and Montreal are promising to sell out, several locations are still struggling to fill out the seats.

To create a flurry among her fans and to regenerate interest, the ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star has even rebranded her tour and named it ‘This Is Me… Live The Greatest Hits’

An insider close to the multifaceted star recently shared with Daily Mail that the decision was partly inspired by Taylor Swift and Madonna’s successes over the past two years. While Swift is in the middle of her record-breaking Eras Tour grossed a billion dollars in revenue, Madonna enjoyed impressive success with her Celebrations Tour.

The insider dished, “Jennifer saw how well Taylor Swift did with the Eras Tour and Madonna did with Celebration, which spans their entire careers, and she hopes to be able to deliver something that will take her fans through the journey of her life.”

Referring to the three-part multimedia project by the name ‘This is Me…Now’, that included an album, a film and a documentary, the insider shared, “This Is Me… Now was such a healing and cathartic experience for her. She does not regret it for one second.”

“But now she is looking forward and is ready to bring this back to her roots and show her fans that she is still, and always will be, Jenny from the Block,” added the tipster.

Previously brand expert Hayley Knight told Daily Mail that Lopez’s struggle to sell tickets could have been facilitated by a poor marketing strategy. However, she sounded quite apprehensive of the rebranding.

Knight said, “There is one main reason why Jennifer Lopez has rebranded her tour, and that’s to get people talking about it,” before adding, “Sales are low, and there hasn’t been a great deal of engagement or buzz around it, so rebranding it has gotten everyone talking about it again.”

She, however, propounded that the new title “diminishes the confidence she has in her same-titled new album, and focuses on her hits.”

“Secondly, unlike the likes of Taylor Swift, Madonna, Britney Spears and Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez doesn’t have a devoted fan base,” added the brand expert before remarking bluntly, “She has more casual fans of her music, who may or may not choose to go and see her live.”
