A nanny has pledged to take children to the Taylor Swift concert for free in exchange for a ticket, and people have branded her tactic ‘genius’.

Julia Leigh Owen, from Colorado, took to a Facebook nannying group to share the ‘perfect solution’ for parents who can’t face being dragged along to the Eras tour.

The nanny, who managed to secure a ticket, explained that her services would include dealing with parking and traffic, taking the children through the merch lines, and taking snaps and videos.

Other Facebook users quickly followed in Julia’s footsteps and advertised similar services in exchange for seeing the pop icon live.

Rachel Tate, who is also from Colorado, shared Julia’s savvy attempt to secure tickets on TikTok, and followers couldn’t believe that they didn’t think of it first.

Julia, who branded herself a ‘professional Swiftie’, advertised the deal on the ‘Nanny Share of Colorado’. She wrote: ‘*Are you a parent being dragged to the Taylor Swift concert in Denver?*

‘Are you a parent begrudgingly taking your mini swifties to the concert?

‘I have the perfect solution… I will babysit your kids!

‘I’ll take them through the hours of merch lines, deal with parking and traffic, share my Swiftie knowledge with them, help them trade friendship bracelets, scream with them through every song, and take tons of pictures and videos of them enjoying the show so you don’t miss out.

‘All of this simply in exchange for your ticket. I am a professional swiftie of 17 years but also a professional nanny based in Colorado Springs.

‘I have experience with kids of all ages and willing to be interviewed and provide references for this position.’

The post was quickly picked up by Rachel Tate who shared the deal on TikTok to emphasize that ‘the dedication of Taylor Swift fans is unmatched’.

She explained that while she is not the biggest fan of the pop singer, she had to share Julia’s post because of its ‘insane’ nature.

Despite calling Julia’s attempt ‘bizarre’, Rachel joked at the end and said: ‘If anyone needs a nanny to take their kids to Drake and 21 Savage, comment down below.’

Bu, despite Julia’s outlandish attempt, it turns out that she did succeed in getting tickets to the Eras tour, though it is uncertain whether she was nannying.

She commented on the original post and said: ‘’Thank you everyone for the support and for those that reached out to help! I did end up going to the show and had a magical time.’

Other users quickly followed in her footsteps and offered nannying services for a ticket to the concert.

Mckenna Cromwell, a UPenn nursing major, wrote that she would ‘do everything in my power to make sure they [the children] have the best time.’
