Breaking News:Tom Brady Roast joke goes wrong as furious former quarterback breaks cover to confront Jeff Ross

Netflix was hosting the Roast of Tom Brady which got off to a blockbuster start with Kevin Hart before Jeff Ross came on and took things a little too far for the former quarterback’s liking.

Tom Brady angrily warned Jeff Ross not to repeat a Robert Kraft joke during his live Netflix Roast.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner was the subject of the self-proclaimed ‘greatest roast of all time’ which got off to a blockbuster start thanks to host Kevin Hart. The actor and comedian laid into Brady, targeting his career and highly publicized divorce from Gisele Bundchen.

But Jeff Ross came up next and took things to another level. In fact, one joke hit Brady particularly hard and the former New England Patriots quarterback stood up and told Ross not to say it again. The joke centered around Brady’s arrival at the Patriots in 2000.

Discussing Brady’s draft, in which he was famously picked at 199th, Ross said: “So, Tom became a Patriot, moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp the scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft’s office and said ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made…would you like a massage?’

Breaking his cover, Brady stood and approached Ross saying: “Don’t say that —- again.” Ross immediately put his hands up and said “OK, OK.” He then added: “He’s having fun, look at him.”

Kraft was in fact in attendance at the Los Angeles Forum and appeared unfazed by the joke. Thankfully, all seemed to end well. Ross and Brady shared an embrace at the end of his roast – which received something of a ribbing from Hart.

Kraft wasn’t the only member of the Patriots dynasty in attendance. Bill Belichick was also there and even participated in the proceedings, once again ‘benching’ Drew Bledsoe.

While talking to Bledsoe, Belichick said: “It’s great seeing you again. This is a big night. The fans want you. Everyone wants you. But it’s not your night. Sorry Drew. Brady, you’re in!”

The skit was of course a nod towards Brady usurping Bledsoe as quarterback at the Patriots. But Bledsoe had time to get his own back too. Taking to the stage, he said: “The last time I was up on stage before Tom Brady, I ended up in the hospital for five days and I lost my damn job.

“Real talk, a lot of people just assumed that I have a lot of animosity toward Tom Brady. I’m here to tell you tonight in front of millions of people that you’re correct. I hate him. But let’s just be honest, a lot of you guys kind of hate him too. I mean, who is more hateable than the most successful quarterback of all time? Except maybe [Bill] Belichick.”
