Breaking News:Travis Kelce’s ex walks back Taylor Swift shade, stands behind cheating claims: ‘The truth is the truth’

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend denies throwing shade at Taylor Swift after “liking” a comment that called the pop star a “5” and claiming the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is a “cheater.”

“I don’t hate Taylor nor am I bitter,” Maya Benberry, 31, wrote on her Instagram Story Tuesday alongside screenshots of her email interview with the Daily Mail. “I got asked about my relationship & spoke on it because I can.”

It’s my life & I can speak on it or about it whenever I please.”

The life coach asserted that her narrative about Kelce cheating on her has “never changed.”

Benberry also responded to reports that she “liked” a comment rating Swift a five out of 10 by denying that she actually feels that way.

“I don’t think that Taylor is a 5. The initial comment was someone complimenting me so I liked it without even paying attention just like I do every other comment on my page,” she explained.

“But once I caught wind that it was shade. I deleted the comment entirely.”

Benberry called herself a “grown ass woman” who stands by what she says.

“I am not a coward & if I truly felt that way about her, I would stand on it, just like I am standing on my infidelity answer,” she said.

The marketing and band consultant further expressed her respect for the “Cruel Summer” singer.

“Taylor is basically a billionaire and a boss. There is no need to hate nor have I or will I,” she said. “Like I said in my interview. I wish her the best of luck & I mean that genuinely.”

Benberry explained that Kelce “wasn’t the man” for her but “could be” for Swift, adding again that “only time will tell.”

“Lastly…what I’m not going to do is put on a facade about my experience when asked about infidelity,” she shared. “You don’t have to like my answer. But the truth is the truth.”

This week, Benberry found herself in hot water when she told the Daily Mail that Swift should be careful amid rumors that Kelce, 33, and the Grammy winner, also 33, are dating.

“Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!” she told the outlet Tuesday, adding, “I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her — and who is just using her.”
