A young Taylor Swift fan had her wildest dreams come true and was left jumping for joy after being surprised with tickets by her parents.

Emersyn Eastman, 13, from South Carolina, had her dream come true on 10 July as her parents gifted her with tickets to see the pop icon, Taylor Swift.

Emersyn’s mother, Carol Ann Eastman, 50, took to TikTok to share footage of her daughter jumping for joy as she received a ticket to The Eras Tour. 

Carol and her husband were distraught after they were unable to find tickets for a Taylor Swift concert in Atlanta, as Emersyn, known as Em, was constantly asking to see the singer perform live.

But at the eleventh hour, Carol managed to get tickets from a family member, who kindly gave up their seat for a concert in Ohio after seeing a video of Em singing a Taylor Swift song on Facebook.

Carol said: ‘Taylor Swift is all Em talks about – it’s nonstop, all day, every day. It’s really rather annoying. You cannot talk to her for longer than 10 minutes without Taylor being brought up.’

She had been saying for weeks that she was going to the Taylor Swift concert, and my husband and I were really concerned because we never got her tickets.’

‘We kept telling her that we didn’t have tickets. She kept telling us that we were kidding because we always come through for her.

‘We were so sad because we knew she was going to be so disappointed’.’

‘My husband videotaped her singing Taylor Swift outside in the pouring rain and posted it on Facebook. He said: ‘Can someone get this girl tickets?’ as a joke.

‘One of her aunts gave up her ticket, so Em could go with them.’

‘She said it was by far the best weekend of her life and she had no voice at all when she got back to South Carolina.’

The US leg of the Eras tour kicked of in Las Vegas in February earlier this year, but the pop star continues touring the states until September this year.

The tour proved to be so popular with an unprecedented demand for tickets that the singer announced eight new shows in America earlier this year.

So, it comes as no surprise that this superfan had such an elated response.

The video captioned: ‘She’s a little excited. #fyp #foryoupage #taylorswift #theerastour #cincinnati #concert #parenting #surprise’ began by showing the young girl opening a new outfit.

Her mother joked that she should wear the new pink outfit to her first day of school, where she is set to start eighth grade.

The family jokingly started debating about where the girl should wear her new outfit, and Emersyn suggested: ‘I think I should wear it to the Eras Tour?’

To which her mum replied: ‘How about Friday night?’

The teenager instantly screamed with joy and ran to hug her mother.

It seems she might have had a sneaky suspicion that her parents got her a golden ticket as she repeated: ‘I knew it, I knew it, I knew it’.

The daughter continued to hug her mother and scream with excitement about seeing Taylor Swift.

It seems even her pet dog might be a Swifite as he joined in on the celebration and jumped on the young girl.

TikTok users took to the comment section to share their joy with Emersyn. One said: ‘She knew it’ to which Carol Ann replied: ‘She’d been saying for WEEKS she was going—even made bracelets. We didn’t have tickets her aunt gave up hers.’

A second person said: ‘Makes me cry! Wish I could have done this with my daughter when she was that age.’
