Exclusive:Brad Pitt Lambasts Angelina Jolie For ‘Wide-Ranging And Intrusive’ Demands For His Private Emails In $350 Million Legal Battle
Brad Pitt has publicly stated that his ex-wife Angelina Jolie has demanded that he disclose all conversations with his inner circle regarding the infamous private jet journey that they took in 2016, a new report claimed.
As stated in the court filings that were obtained by In Touch Weekly, Brad was opposed to Angelina’s discovery requests that were described as “wide-ranging and intrusive.”
After Angelina sold off her part in the French vineyard Chateau Miraval, which they had purchased while they were married without his knowledge, Brad, who was 60 at the time, filed a lawsuit against her in 2022.
It was originally intended, according to Brad, for them to hand on the firm to their offspring. During the period beginning in 2004, the pair was together until she submitted her petition for divorce in September 2016.
A few days after an incident that occurred on a private plane with the couple and their children, the divorce was finalized. According to Angelina, Brad engaged in physical contact with her and a couple of the children.
Ever since the beginning, the “Ad Astra” actor has been arguing against Angelina’s account of the events. An investigation into the situation was conducted by the FBI as well as the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. The prosecution did not file any criminal charges against Brad.
“Brad has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one — unlike the other side but he’s not going to own anything he didn’t do. He has been on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation,” Brad’s lawyer previously said about Angelina’s claims.
As part of the conflict over Chateau, Brad asserted that they had made a commitment to not sell their ownership without first receiving consent from the other parties.
Following Angelina’s demand that she be bought out, Brad and his business partners made an offer to purchase her stock that was greater than fifty million dollars.
The discussions, on the other hand, came to an end as the couple’s divorce battle quickly became contentious. Her investment was sold to a business called Stoli, which is owned by a Russian tycoon. Angelina sold her stake. Brad asserted that Stoli was aiming to take Chateau over in an antagonistic manner. In his lawsuit, he demanded that the transaction be removed.
Any and all charges of impropriety were refuted by Angelina. She denied that a consent from Brad was necessary in order to sell her investment.
Nouvel, the company that Angelina sold to Stoli and which retained her interest in Chateau, has launched a countersuit against Brad, accusing him of squandering company assets. The lawsuit asks for $350 million damages. This was a denial on his part. Both instances are still unresolved. Over the course of several weeks, Brad and Angelina have been exchanging ideas regarding the finding.
When Brad filed his new motion, he accused Angelina of making 54 requests for papers from him, many of which, according to Brad, had nothing to do with the dispute that is currently being discussed. Brad mentioned that a few of the requests are connected to the divorce of the marriage as well as the incident that occurred on the plane, as per PEOPLE.
“To avoid unnecessary motion practice and another public filing rife with personal attacks, Pitt voluntarily offered to produce documents sufficient to show everything that occurred on the flight that precipitated the ex-couple’s divorce,” Brad’s lawyer penned.
