Fans Check In The floral top Taylor Swift wore to record ‘TTPD’ is still in stock — and under $60
You won’t want to wait a fortnight to click “add to cart” on this.
After Taylor Swift released her highly anticipated new album “The Tortured Poets Department” on Friday, producer Jack Antonoff gave fans a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse at the duo’s recording process via a series of Polaroids.
And in one candid snap — which Antonoff labeled as “the day we made down bad” — the star is seen sporting a familiar fashion find: Free People’s Melanie Tank ($58).
She was first spotted wearing the under-$60 design for one of her many fashion-filled trips to Electric Lady recording studio in NYC last June — seemingly the same day Antonoff snapped the photo.
And while the pop star’s style selections often fly off the shelves swiftly, the closet staple is somehow still in stock in multiple colors, including her white-and-red pick.
For her summer studio session, the “Cruel Summer” singer styled the floral find with Stella McCartney Sunglasses ($310) and a pair of her go-to Reformation loafers. (While her exact shoes are sold out, the Agathea Chunky Loafer provides a similar look sans slingback.)
To complement the corset with even more Swift-inspired accessories, consider bling she’s worn on repeat lately, too, like the Tilly Sveaas T-Bar Link Necklace ($492).
Either way, if you’re going from listening the “Tortured Poets Department” to shopping the clothing department, we’d suggest moving fast.
While Swift sported modern pieces from her go-to brands like Ralph Lauren and Free People while recording the album, her outfits in the upcoming music video for the Post Malone-featuring “Fortnight” harken back to an earlier era instead.
The superstar songstress is seen wearing a series of gowns for the lead single’s visuals, including a voluminous white dress — seemingly confirming her corseted ivory Schiaparelli gown from the 2024 Grammy Awards was a “TTPD” reference all along.
Her latest lyrics have kept fans on the hunt for Easter eggs, too, with many fans speculating certain songs could contain references to her famed feud with Kim Kardashian and famous ex-boyfriends Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.
