Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes Has High Praise for 1 Underrated Travis Kelce Trait After Listing to Taylor Swift Album
The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl Champions thanks in large part to the play of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and perennial Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce. The pair now have won three Super Bowls together and are the basis for a dominating Chiefs offense.
While Mahomes and Kelce are both well-known for their prowess on the field, the future Hall of Fame tight end has seen his popularity skyrocket since his relationship with popstar Taylor Swift became public last September. A few songs on her latest album, Tortured Poets Department, are dedicated to him and make numerous references to their relationship.
One of the songs on Swift’s new album is called “So High School,” and it includes numerous references to Kelce and his status as a famous football player.
One of the lines of that particular song reads “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” a reference to the famed ancient Greek philosopher who was the private tutor of Alexander the Great.
Some fans took this line as a shot at Kelce’s intelligence. After all, he puts on the public image as an individual who likes to party and seemingly embraces the “dumb jock” label.
According to Kelce’s quarterback, however, the nine-time Pro Bowl tight end is a great deal smarter than people give him credit for.
