NFL pundit thinks Aaron Rodgers will never reach Tom Brady or Joe Montana’s level
At this point and th way things are going, Aaron Rodgers seems closer to retire than from winning a new Super Bowl ring. Granted, the New York Jets’ veteran has won 4 MVP awards and one Super Bowl ring. Not a terrible resume considering he warmed up Brett Favre’s bench foor three full years. When you look at his actual stats, you will find that Rodgers should probably have more SB rings than he does right now. He curently has 59,055 passing years, 475 touchdowns, and a 65.1% completion rate. Those four MVP’s and the Super Bowl ring are his greatest achievements. But compared to other greats, Aaron Rodgers does pale a bit in comparison that we will break down right here.
Former Denver Broncos guard Mark Schlereth spoke about Aaron Rodgers on ‘The Stinkin’ Truth’ show, where he reminded people where Aaron Rodgers stands inside the pantheon of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. While talking about his achievements, Schlereth did more than enough to let folks know he doesn’t like Aaron Rodgers being so hyped up as a quarterback. He didn’t need to be specific, saying: “Let me ask you this. Aaron Rogers, a four-time MVP, one Super Bowl, right? We called the Green Bay Packers the dynasty that never was. If you invite the greatest quarterbacks of all time to dinner and there’s you know it’s like Thanksgiving and there’s one main table and then the kids table on the side, Aaron Rogers is sitting at the Kids Table.”

What everybody counts more than Aaron Rodgers’ achievements are the Super Bowl rings. Tom Brady is the one with the most rings in hitory, he currently has seven of them and lost three other attempts. Joe Montana has a perfect four rings out of four attempts. Terry Bradshaw also has four Super Bowl Rings. Troy Aikman took the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl wins in the span of four years, something Tom Brady also achieved. Even Eli Manning has more swagger than Aaron Rodgers with two Super Bowl rings that he won against Tom Brady. Although he still has time to hypothetically win one more, it’s safer to think Aaron Rodgers might retire sooner rather than later.
