The Straits Times reports that the 35-year-old artist landed at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday in a chartered Bombardier Global Express jet, initiating her eagerly awaited visit, during which she is scheduled to perform from March 2-4 and March 7-9.

Swift’s journey to Singapore followed her final Australian tour performance at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Monday, with the flight lasting around eight hours, according to Flightaware’s tracking.

Over 6,000 individuals monitored the flight on Flightradar24, making it the most tracked flight around the time of its landing.

Upon her arrival, Swift, accompanied by her team, proceeded to the Capella resort hotel in black Toyota Alphards, reaching their destination at approximately 6:20 p.m. The singer’s lodging is situated a 21-minute drive away from the concert venue.

Singapore has been buzzing with excitement for Swift’s concerts, featuring citywide events including a special light and water show and a themed retail pop-up in anticipation of the performances.

Attracting over 300,000 attendees from Singapore and the region, the concert series has caused a spike in hotel and flight bookings.

CNBC reports that, according to Smith Travel Research data, hotel bookings in Singapore for March 2024 increased by 10% following the announcement of Swift’s concert.

Furthermore, airlines, including Singapore Airlines and Scoot, experienced a surge in flight demand to Singapore in March, especially from Southeast Asia. Jetstar Asia also witnessed a roughly 20% increase in demand for flights from cities like Bangkok, Manila, and Jakarta to Singapore.

Economy class round-trip fares from HCMC to Singapore for the concert dates are set at around VND8.91 million (US$362), significantly higher than the usual range of VND2.7 million to VND4.5 million. Post-concert, the price drops to VND3.39 million for a round trip.

Flights from Hanoi to Singapore during the concert period also soared, with the lowest price reaching nearly VND12 million, compared to the typical range of VND4.8-9.1 million.
