Taylor Swift Lightens the Mood, Jokes About Humidity Impacting Her Hair During Singapore Show:’I’m Not Complaining.
As you can see, my hair has returned to its factory settings, thanks to the humidity here,” Swift told the crowd during her Eras Tour show on Sunday
Taylor Swift had a relatable issue during her Eras Tour Singapore show on Sunday.
The “Love Story” hitmaker, 34, joked about the effect the humidity was having on her hair as she took the stage for her second of six shows at the National Stadium in Kallang.
“As you can see, my hair has returned to its factory settings, thanks to the humidity here. I’m not complaining, I like it,” Swift told the 55,000-strong crowd in a clip shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“But, I do want to commend you because it’s very humid and you guys have just turned it up 100% all night,” she added.
“You’ve been dancing, you’ve been standing and taking pictures all night. And you look so cute, why am I sweating so much? Then I’m looking at you, you all look perfect,” Swift continued to her fans.
Hair issues aside, the musician had a surprise announcement during Sunday’s gig. While sitting at her piano, the “Bad Blood” singer revealed the fourth and final version of her upcoming 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which is set to be released on April 19.
The pop superstar also shared the news on Instagram, revealing the bonus track for this edition is titled “The Black Dog.” Previously unseen artwork of Swift running her hands through her hair was also included.
“’Old habits die screaming…’ File Name: The Black Dog 🖤,” she wrote, adding, “Pre-order the final new edition of THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT with exclusive bonus track ‘The Black Dog’ on my website now.”
Swift also included a second image of the album’s track listing in her post, featuring a separate shot of the star with the words “Old habits die screaming” written across it.
The latest announcement came after Swift revealed the third special edition of the album with bonus track “The Albatross” while on stage in Sydney on Feb. 23. The second version, featuring a bonus track, “The Bolter,” was revealed during Swift’s Melbourne show on Feb. 16.
Swift first announced the upcoming album during her acceptance speech when she won best pop vocal album for her 2022 album Midnights at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Feb. 4. The first version of the eagerly anticipated release features a bonus track called “The Manuscript.”
