Speaking back in April about the show, Kelce said: ‘I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with Are you Smarter than a Celebrity? The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining.

‘I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.’

An array of stars have taken part in the first series of the new Kelce show, including comedians Nikki Glaser, Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches, NFL analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick and former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco.

In the meantime though, Kelce is gearing up for the start of the new NFL season – it is less than a month until Kansas City Chiefs start their new campaign with a blockbuster showdown against Baltimore Ravens on Sep. 5 at Arrowhead Stadium.
